2018 City deer hunt.
The 2018 city wide deer hunt is a DNR program to lessen the population of the deer herd in the city limits. The DNR has allowed 10 doe to be taken in 2018. This hunt is a doe only hunt.
There will be a proficiency shoot on 09/03/2018, at 6 p.m. It will be at the city compost site north of town on County Road 5, then the first gravel road to the right, then about 1/8 mile on the right side. Bring your bow and a ‘few’ arrows. Crossbows by permit will be allowed. 2018 Minnesota archery regulations apply to the city hunt.

The season runs with Minnesota Statewide Archery Season, only 10 permits will be drawn for the hunt with the cost being $10.00 for the permit.
